Lechhausen: living and business by the Lech

Lechhausen is a large Augsburg district with a lot of business. Alongside residential areas, there are shops, trade businesses, workshops and commercial sites with halls and warehouses. North of the city, the A8 runs between Munich and Stuttgart.

There is plenty to do in Lechhausen for construction and installation teams. Houses are being renovated, commercial buildings extended, and cables and building services renewed. Many of these contracts last a few weeks, some considerably longer.

From Augsburg Hauptbahnhof it is approx. 10 minutes by car to Lechhausen. If part of your team comes by train, the main station is a good meeting point.

Second work area: the Innovationspark

In the south of Augsburg, near the university quarter, lies the Augsburg Innovationspark (innovation park). Research institutions and companies working on topics such as lightweight construction, automation and IT are based there. New buildings, laboratories and technical areas are being built here step by step. Messe Augsburg, the exhibition centre, is also nearby.

For teams installing equipment, fitting building services or setting up exhibition stands there, the same applies as for Lechhausen. From the main station it is approx. 10 minutes by car. Some companies have jobs at both locations. Let us know in your request. During weeks with major trade fairs, the city can get busier. For those periods, send your request as early as possible.

By van to Augsburg

Most fitters arrive in their own vehicle. You can reach Augsburg via the A8 from the direction of Munich and Stuttgart. From Ulm it is around 80 kilometres on the A8. Within the city, the B2 and B17 are important north–south routes. When crossing the Lech bridges during rush hour, it is best to allow a little extra time. Tell us in advance which vehicles you are bringing. Parking for cars and vans is subject to availability, and some properties also have space for lorries.

The accommodation has beds, a kitchen, bathroom, Wi-Fi and Smart TV. A washing machine and dryer are available, partly shared. Please bring your own towels and food.

How your team is housed

Send us the dates, number of people and work location. We will get back to you personally with a quote. From 7 nights you pay from €22 per person per night, net. For teams of 10 people or more staying at least 9 months, the price is from €19 per person per night, net.

After the binding reservation, you will receive the invoice to your company, with the exact address of the accommodation. Check-in is between 5 pm and 9 pm. If your team would like to live together, let us know. Whether that is possible depends on team size and occupancy.
